I just bought an 08' and it's absolutely stunning and the interior and exterior is immaculate. I hope it can be reliable, but it is the smoothest and most beautiful car I could have gotten. I love it! Especially coming from an Mk5 Jetta(bigger but not nearly as defined and powerful)

I've had 4 2.8l B5's over the last ten years, finally making the jump to B7 and picking up an extremely well maintained 2005.5 A4 with 167k miles. I'm pretty excited to see how the 2.0t feels, read nothing but good things.

I'm a huge fan of the 2.0T. There's a reason it spans the full lineup of Audi vehicles now
@joshuatorrez76084 жыл бұрын
do you still have the car? how has it been for you? are they expensive to maintain? I'm thinking of getting a 06 audi a4 quattro with 164k miles. guy says the water pump has a small coolant leak, does that have to do with the timing belt? cuz he said that's due for a replacement. do these models have the TFSI engine?

I have recently bought a Audi A4, 2.0 turbo cabriolet, 2009, at the moment it runs really well, economy ain't brilliant, possibly needs checking out. I smell gas when approaching it but not when driving, will check it out when in the mood 😮😊. 😅.

I have a b7 Audi A4 2008 and I love it the down fall in the design of this is the center console since the arm rest covers up one of the cup holders, other then that I love it but unfortunately I spun a bearing on the crank and I was going to get it rebuilt but being that the head is in bad shape I’m gonna just find a donor short block. This happened at 125,000 miles. It is a sline FWD, CVT transmission and I can’t believe the transmission out live the engine but I am gonna get her back on the road and hopefully enjoy it for a few more years and most likely gonna get a a7 next

I’m thinking on an 06 a4. its got 90k miles, but it also has error code p0011. Is this an easy repair, or should I steer away from it. It runs and drives incredibly and feels amazing, but the code is making me question if it’s worth it

KZbinrs, I need some advice. I am looking into purchasing a 2006 Audi A4 2.0T with 126k miles on it. Is it reliable in terms of longevity and are the repairs affordable? What are some major problems?
@DrivenCompanion5 жыл бұрын
You'll want to check and see if the timing belt/water pump service has been performed - these are typically due at about 90K miles. 2006 was one of the first years of the 2.0T and typically with any automaker there tend to be some problems with the first production runs of a new engine that are worked out over time. That said, Audi's are well built in many other capacities and are a vehicle worth maintining, but the repairs will be more than your average car. I've owned 5 A4s and loved each of them!

Derik B. Absolute workhorses just check cam belt has been changed . Mine is at 187k now and it’s mainly tyres and brake pads every 15 and 30k . I have multitronic s line 2007 model and it’s never skipped a beat . A solid machine . Good luck with your purchase and happy driving

What are your thoughts on your b6 vs b7?
@DrivenCompanion5 жыл бұрын
I really like both. In a way I wish Audi would have stuck with the smaller dimensions of the B6 as it feels a little more nimble to drive, but overall the B7 was an impressive progression. They really did quite a transformation inside and out and nice powertrain upgrade as well. Steering feel isn't as good in early years of the B7 either with the new electric steering.
@a88888888a5 жыл бұрын
@@DrivenCompanion I hear you. I think a low milage b6 a4 auto that you convert to at 6mt, upgrade the ecu to 255tq and 225hp and swap out thr front brakes for brembo would be a good daily driver that's reliable. I just don't like the timing belt. If they did the cosmetic changes to the b6 like the b7 but kept it small it would be a winner

@@irueben28 I told the dude nevermind about buying it. Because I know once something fucks up, it'll be close to 400-2000 for repairs and labor. I'd rather stick with domestic cars. Easier to work on. Easier to repair.

I would definitely be worried about an Audi with that many miles. Its certainly possible to get up to 300,000 miles but you'll have some expensive repairs along the way. You'll want to be prepared for that.
