Mine is on 158000 miles, did this on mine and it was actually much worse than yours. Mine did all stay in the cover though, but it was all plastic, nothing bending, only snapping or shattering. My PCV was changed about 1000 miles previous and it was original 2006 part! 2006 - 2023 is not bad for a PCV 🤣

Would you happen to know what's the valve cover bolts torque and sequence specifications when you tightening the bolts back on the engine? Do you have to thight the bolts 3 times and then on the last third time you torque the bolts using the torque wrench? I heard the torque is 7ft pounds others say is 8 and 10. Which one is it? I'm new at this and don't want to damage anything. Do you have to remove the pcv valve from the valve cover or not? I watched another KZbin video in which the person removed the screws to break it loose from the valve cover but left the valve cover in the same spot of the engine and just removed the valve cover. Hope you can help me out.

the bolts are torqued to 10NM. That is 7.4 pounds feet.
