Guys: Thank you for bringing that K12 back into the light! Harley is great. BMW is also great. That K1200S may just be the best sounding motorcycle that BMW has ever made. I had a K12, and got her up to 150 on the road out of Tonopah, NV, past Racheal, barely making it into the Shell station in Alamo, NV. These things were made to f**kin' honk. Keep on rockin' in a free world, guys. Tires are lookin' OK, but they're probably pretty old. Recommend that you install a set of Metzeler M7RRs. Soon. Like the HA says, "Ride hard, die fast." M7RRs will help you to prevent that. DAMHIK.

Bought a 2007 K1200S with 17K miles on it. I put 2000K since I acquired it. Love it Love it… like you guys, I do all my maintenance. The German bikes are definitely unique. I have three BMW’s and all are just a joy to ride. You got a keeper.

@Midex74driver we've been servicing Japanese bikes for 30 years and really love them. I worked on European vehicles in my early career and wasn't a huge fan but this bike really impressed me! My buddy just got an Italian Beta and I really like it as well. Appreciate you watching man!

I'm the one that ended up with it. It's been revved up pretty high since I got it, doing some very hard acceleration, it seems to like it just fine.

As a proud owner of a 2016 K1300S Motorrad, I only do high RPMs under load…. I never “dry rev” especially if it’s been sitting a while
