Check your codes, I had the same problem, and I see your oil pressure is low, you may need a oil pressure sensor which is located under the alternator, easy work to save money, and while your at change your crankshaft sensor also, I had the exact same problem but did these two task myself and my 300c runs like a champ now,check KZbin for both sensors DIY on 300s and get to work bru👌✊👍

Step dad had to pay 1350 for a fuel pump. I waa told it would stop the issue. But within the same week the car shuts off, somedays its 2 to 3 minutes after crank other days its 20 to 30 minutes after crank. The shops cant find the reason they say. I personally think they know they just want you to spend larger amounts of money versus tighten up the battery cable or fixing a mis firing spark plug.

First times it was happening i replaced all spark plugs (16), throttle body and engine bay cleansing. Worked well for 2-3 months then same issue back again when i get new gas and drive in low rpm, where it stalls and starts back again misfiring. Many recalls for chrysler models. Do research on which chrysler engines (5.7, 6.1, etc.) had issues that you can relate and dispute with the dealership to fix.

anyone having this issue you may have a fuel tank recall, had to take mine to the dealership about a year ago because it would randomly stall at low rpm with a full tank. something do to with a sensor inside the fuel tank. Definitely take your car to the dealer if you're having this problem

Cameron Lane yes but even with the recall you need to be informed before asking the dealership about it. Originally it was for certain build date VINs in 06. Then it was expanded. I swear I thought it was expanded to all of the 04-08 LX cars, but maybe I’m wrong. I had the documents online at one point and I swear I saved them but now can’t find them. Anyway, both Chrysler customer services and the dealerships have been known to play dumb regarding this replacement, so you’ve got to say the magic words like, “car shuts off after gas fill up”, and suddenly they remember what you are talking about. Too late now BUT- You'll soon realize, NONE of the many, many "fixes" are for sure or last. Be sure you'll get every suggestion from the YT know it all's but it won't work/last. It's an anomaly plaguing all early 5.7s and 6.1s but mostly 5.7s. Don't drive it, you will eventually crash, shut off while rolling, no power brakes, no power steering, etc. Can't believe with all the many reports out there that nothing official has been done to resolve this or owners reimbursed for a fn lemon. Will never own another Dodge/Chrysler. Burned me bad and I worked so hard to pay off my brand new 06 Charger 5.7 that now just sits/rots in my driveway... No start any longer. Suuuuper pissed off.

I had the same issue in 300c 2006 (hemi 5.7) , fuel tank replace didn't resolve the problem , the issue was caused by wrong spark plugs installed by a mechanic (Champion RE14MCC5), after I changed it to the correct ones Champion RE14MCC4 stalling issue disappear , also OBD Codes also dissapear.

Since you own the same car as I do, you need to invest in some tools jacks and jackstands, because a hemi engine is the easiest to work on than anything out there, once you learn and start repairing your own car, you wouldn't want to stop, you'll want to keep going, doing all kinds of shit😂 try it young man or find someone who's willing to teach you, and remember KZbin is your friend when it comes to fixing Chrysler Dodge engines, goodluck👍

Lol I felt this comment in my soul. I'm a female. My dad & brother was mechanics. They taught me alot. They always said we r teaching u all of this so u won't have to ask/depend on a man/anybody to do it or so nobody can sell u no lemon. So with that being said, I pretty much do as much of the work as I can on my ("06" 300c 5.7). And if I can't do it. It will go to my mechanic and I stay right there watching whats being done to my car.🤷🏼‍♀️😂! I've been having stalling issues at red lights, stop signs, speed bumps, slow traffic, and sometimes pulling out. I literally have to use both feet when coming up on a light or sitting at light and all the above. And sometimes it acts like it wants to cut off while driving until u give it a lil more gas and then its fine. In a year I have literally replaced both radiator hoses (Top-Busted so I replaced both), water pump (Due 2 whining Noise), About 2 months later Check-Engine/Lightening-Bolt light started coming on dash and occasionally cut off so I did a complete tune up, changed the spark-plugs/boots 2× w/ in 2 Months due to being told the spark plugs i bought wasn't recommended for hemi motors (Wasn't 💪 enough). Still cutting off so I let my mechanic do the fuel pump (Top was completely broke off), and fuel filter at the same time. Then did fuel treatment. Still didn't fix it. It had coded for a egr, so I changed that. Same crap. So I finally got tired of buying/spending and gave up and said F'It just got accustom to driving with 2 feet 😞. So 3 weeks ago the belt started unraveling and was making a slapping sound so I parked it for 2 weeks due to not having time to fix the belt. Well my battery had went dead (due to me leaving Bluetooth transmitter plugged in or just Due to the fact of me not cranking it and letting it run for a min every so often while it was parked). So I went ahead and changed the belt. Later that day I got it jumped. So i went and had the Battery/Alternator tested, (both was fine). Which I knew The battery wasn't bad or nothing cuz its not even a yr old and under warranty. Well I started trying to figure out the cut off issue. So I went and bought a throttle body changed it 4 days ago and still same crap so I did more research the other night and came across a bad IAT sensor so I was really hoping that would fix it. But it didn't. Its still doing it. But no where near as bad/much as it was. I desperately need some advice.

Ok you have 2 problems here 1 the oil pressure switch behind the alternator is bad. Ensure that your running factory recommended oil in the engine they are very picky. And 2 have your evap system checked it's likely the fuel tank recall or tsb

I got a 2007 Chrysler 300 2.7 with 210,500 miles on and off it does the same just shuts down driving. Possibly ignition switch relay, autoshutdown relay. You mentioned torque code could have a busted torque converter.

Well this was over a year ago so what was the resolution Because my 300 is doing same thing so exploring all options, so far I need to check my fuses and make sure wireing harness is not loose, otherwise it is the fuel tank recall

Just did the fuel tank warranty recall, car was good for a few days, randomly shut off like a week later. Did you find anything out (3/2020)

After all I did and paid for it was the engine harness......aka the wiring for the entire engine sorry I'm late on the reply but according to the stealership they don't make or sell the harnesses for this year Chrysler....I end up saying f**k it and took the car home. 1 day the shutting off stopped.....

It's corrosion in the plugs man, they cause a short and the computer starts to shut down for safety. Just clean all the connections up with electrical spray and add some dielectric grease for protection. Check your wires and make sure they are not missing insulation by looking for cracks, tape em up. Dodge/chrysler for these years are cheap with their copper wire harness and computers.

Same issue! I got the Chrysler 300 c 2006 aug 26 this year it has 100,000 miles. New computer New gas tank new Gas pump spark plugs are good every fluid was drained and replaced. It caused me to wreck it the 14th of November. So if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it!

Good morning brother this is a Robert out of Fort Myers Florida how are you👋, I have a 300 C 2006 also And for about five or six months I’ve been experiencing the same issues that you have, according to the mechanic he suggested that we change the crank sensor number one, and number two it was supposed to have been the throttlebody that might not be good but we took it out and cleaned it and put it right back and that seem to work for a little while, the car drove OK for a little bit and then started acting up again, so I lift up the phone and dial the seven digits😆 and I reached out to a friend of mine that only fixes transmitions and he suggested that around the transformation there are some plugs that need to be disconnected cleaned and put back together, so I’m wondering because your video is a little old and I’m wondering if you have identify your problem if so and or not I would appreciate it if you get back to me Robert here thank you✌️

I read countless posts from people who have blown thousands on replacement parts and the problem persists but the dealership won’t give them a refund or even next attempt free. They know these things don’t work but they sell it to you anyway. That’s fraud. Widespread, large scale fraud, and together we can beat this. Chrysler may fold and we may never get another dime but so be it, the rest of the automotive world will get a hint to get their shit together and quit fleecing America.

Mines doing the same thing I have a 06 300 its stuttering smells like fuel coming out of the exhaust but the computer on it it's a cylinder 3 all the wires are good spark plugs good new ecm new coil new fuel injectors still can't find the problem took it to the dealer they said the engine is good but they're trying to charge me $2,500 to fix the problem

Don’t spend the money yet. We all need to band together to get Chrysler to take car of this. Trust me I’m on a mission. I have a lifetime warranty bumper to bumper on the car and they still say it won’t do it we had they have it in the shop. Liars. One full month in the shop, I pick it up, dies within minutes. Take it back next day, it stay for a week, they say they can’t get it to shut off. I take it back, shuts off within minutes. Finally get them to test drive with me. Won’t shut off, but now the service writer is blown away at how noisy the suspension is and that they are very concerned as it is alarming. Wow. “You don’t say” is my response. I tell them to start by looking at the sway bar end links and bushings. Sure enough they replace those, noise still there but from other components. I bought this 06 Magnum RT new and I’ve complained about suspension noise almost every time I’ve had it in the shop over 13 yrs, and they just blow me off. Incredible. One time I complained and they found nothing but a month later they determined that the lower front A arms were so shot the bushing was gone. How does that happen in a month. It just lie until they can’t lie anymore. I truly don’t believe it just the dealerships all conspiring against owners. I believe they are just following Chrysler protocol of denial, denial, denial. As far as the shutting off issue, has anyone noticed it has nothing to do with mileage, but it does have to do with age. Most 2005-2008 cars started showing signs around 2011, and by 2014 the gas tank replacement “bulletin” was issued, not a recall. So even cars with 40,000 miles or 180,000 miles same thing. But the gas tank replacement doesn’t always fix the problem, and if fact I think that in less than half the cars did it actually fix the problem. Chrysler is in deep shit. I’m mounting a campaign. To address the issue.
