Awesome videos and awesome collection. C6Z top was not removable and believe it was made of carbon fiber. One of the greatest cars America has ever produced in my opinion

Does not know much about z06’s. They do not have removable tops. Love the car though.

That makes sense. I think I was confusing it with my C5. I recall those having issues with tops flying off back then. Thanks for the clarification!

@@PaFurGarage Maybe your roof was replaced due to the recall? That's probably the reason the paint felt rough. Make sure to run vin to see if it was taken care of. Also, there is a recall for a jumper wire to be installed for headlights that can can suddenly cut off. I just picked up an 06 Z with 2200 miles on it. Had one before and regretted selling it so I got another. Back in heaven.
