2006 Honda Accord stuck glove box cheap fix

This a cheap fix for those of you that dont want to completely replace the glove box. Also for those of you that need to open it in a pinch there's an alternative link in the comments

Great tip Kevin! It took me a while to get the tie wrap around that rod inside the door though. I ended up using some very light gauge steel wire (for picture hanging). I was able to form a hook on the end, get the hook to go around that rod inside the door, and then pull it the rest of the way through with a needle nose pliers. I then tied the light gauge wire onto the end of the tie-wrap and snaked it around the rod.

Thanks for your video bro it really helped. However, I had a problem with trying to put the zip-😂tie around the rod. After a few minutes, my wife came out with a crochet hook, and it opened right up. 😂

If you take your honda key and push on that rod toward the steering wheel, it will pop right open also... no zip-tie required...

Or a small screwdriver on the plastic clip and push it to the left.

Another way to get it open is to pull the latch, then really yank on it super hard

That is a tie strap, in case any of you don’t know where you can get one, if you know of a Trump supporting January 6 insurrectionist, they use them during their riot of our capitol building. So if you know of a Trump supporting insurrectionist rioter, ask them and they should be able to let you know where you can get those zip ties
