Honda accord glove box won't open and fix.

How to open a stuck shut glove box on 2003-2007 honda accord and possibly applies to other years and models. I also include what I did to fix the problem. Thanks to other KZbin videos I knew where to start to get it opened but my video shows what the actual problem is and how to fix it.

I have some vids that explain how to remove the beige cover from the glove box to get to the internals for repair and reassembly. Mine had a broken latch assy. and not a simple detached rod.

Once I get my glovebox open, I’m inclined to remove the original latch system and install small strong magnets to hold it shut. Then to open just pull with moderate force.

Awesome idea. Not like anyone can't just lry it open and break it if they were so inclined to actually open it. Like the old saying goes, "locks only keep honest people honest".
