2006 Honda Odyssey radio/dvd/av system issues

Very helpful video. Thank You! Be advised folks, not all 2006 Odysseys have the same part number for the Radio/CD unit. Contact Honda with your VIN and they will nail down which one is yours. Don't assume they're all A3's as shown here. Very easy to lose that middle screw. Suggest using an nut driver (mine has 8mm screws). Also when you remove the panel, that plug behind the dome light switch wants to fall down into never never land. Best secure it with a rubber band or something. Email Honda parts with your VIN and they'll give you the correct replacement.

One question... were the replacement units both pulled from the same vehicle? Or will a DVD unit from.a different vehicle work with my original stereo head unit? We're having the same F2 issue, however we have upgraded to an aux adapter so I'm fine leaving the sticky CD changer as-is if possible. Just want to know if Inget a matching part numbered DVD player, if it will just plug and play with my current head unit. :)

I ordered mine from ebay, on online auto salvage company. You just need to make sure the serial numbers match yours....so it doesnt matter if it comes from two different vehicles as long as that matches.

Mine matches both purchased dvd players but one gives f2 error the other wont play any of Disney movies cus thats how i roll 😆 lol

I wasted soda in my dvd player 07 exl i got mine from ebay it say F2 so i got another one now the funny thing about this it was shipped from LQK and it had a disk in 5he player well it played but when i put the little people CD in it gives me the F2 error IDK what to do. HELP
