I always feel a little timid doing some of these how-to videos because I am learning while doing it too. I'm not a mechanic and never had formal training, but I am a dedicated shade-tree hobbyist lol. Biting off more than I can chew is something I avoid - this was one of those moments. Best to be honest and provide full disclosure despite how easy others may have felt it would be to do. 👍👍

Had the same problem, for future though, if you are puting a new one any way, drill a hole on the side with the striped bolt, and get a pair of vice grip pliers and work it, it will come lose after a while, replace screw with Phillip head replace screws, you can get for 1.98 at lowes, it will help you in the future.

You can also use a small hammer and chisel to turn the bolt/screw by placing the chisel on the down side and lightly tap gently once it grab it will turn the screw

most all lock-tight breaks down under heat. you can grab the head with vice grips or file 2 flats and get it with a 6mm wrench. IAC motor is below this as you can see the idle intake under the main TB opening.

I was getting code P0123 throttle pedal position sensor high voltage and getting high than normal idle and when driving high revving. I did have slight trouble with that T20 torx bolt. But was able to get it free. What helped was to heat the T20 torx tool up and then put it on the bolt for a few minutes. That way it heats up the bolt some

I am sure you have fixed it by now, but use a pair of side cutters or vise-grips.

Use a pair of small vice grips and clamp on the outside of that screw and break it loose
