Thank you for sharing this. I have an 09 spectra in my driveway I parked after driving one day and she cranks but hasn't started since. I've replaced my crank position sensor and still no luck. I'm going to try checking some of the other stuff you suggested in this video but I just wanted to thank you for sharing. I will update you on what I find was wrong with my 09 spectra.

Hey man, what’s that right underneath the cam position sensor?? The plastic has dry rotted on mine and I don’t know where to get a replacement for it

I changed my battery, alternator and fuel pump. Car still wont start. Turns over but wont fully commit. Could these be my issue that I need to look at next?

I am currently having this problem....over 3 years never had a problem with my spectra 5 turing over...i took it to check the mail and now its parked at the mail box....the battery seems fine no Deming lights or corrosion...i was thinking the starter...thanks for the info...i will let you know soon...

I just had a problem on my 2007 Kia spectra ex and I thought it was my starter but it turned out my black ground wire upper left hand corner. It had no spark no click, battery was good and start was good. I hope this helps someone

My 07 Kia spectra5 turned off on the high way while I was driving .I ran a diagnostic on it and gave me the camshaft sensor code p0340 & p0101 codes can it be the similar thing

P0101 is the MAF Sensor, and the P0340 is Cam Sensor A. I would check out the MAF Sensor first since it is the easiest to check of the two.

Have 04 optima 2.4 did the timing belt water pump what a/F the water pump and wasn't caught by Q/ A rejected. Warped like a boomerang wouldn't seal in and out 5 times before I pitched it her the old pump.replased bot crank cam. Tab on the crank was broke. Hands are totally raw cause there's no room between strut tower water pump timing belt side o the motor.2 weeks spent all turkey day on it.no spark.but the connecter to the crank sensor looks like dog poop.i want to touch this POS. I did my wife's Mitsubishi eclipse 3.0 v6 went like butter Thank I'm debating on gong out trying again. Or just put a down on a her car. Have more new problems. You need little hands to work on these cars. Jesus !
