What u doing for the trans tho I want one but hear the trans can't be helped even with rebuilds and trans cooler they still blow up when u make 400 whp or more

⁠@@5.7_Soulcan’t speak for this guy but it’s going to need a full rebuild reinforced parts for any power past that 400ish mark as these engines are already to powerful for there trans off the lot. It’s cause Chevy slapped in the same trans as the previous gen that had the supercharged v6. Best off going for a full swap, luckily I’m pretty sure you can just bolt on a tremec and the sky’s the limit if that’s your chosen route. Great cars, few quirks but easily fixable all things considered. Mines bone stock running 200k strong and easily ready for another 200k, maintenance is key.
