As a plastic surgeon friend of mine likes to say--"natural beauty." Which is to say--"unlike others, unique"... In Plushenko's case, it is really only visible the moment he hears the music and begins to skate. That, truly, is a grand passion. Over the years, I have been enchanted by the number of times he would be so entranced--by music he had obviously memorized--that he would still unwittingly close his eyes while skating. So glad he'll be back on the ice in Hiroshima, Aug. 18-19, 2018--after a few weeks off following a neck injury. That occurred after months of skating with not many days off, and he has been skating very well indeed. Hope that will be true again this next month. As for the "poor video quality"--I must be fortunate, because it played quite well here. Thanks for posting!
