2006 Sprinter t1n crankshaft position sensor replacement

After our 2006 Sprinter t1n crankshaft position sensor fails we replace it to fix the problem.

Do you know what the two wires are? Signal, ground, power? I replaced mine but there must be a problem with a wire

An 118" old ambulance 2500.?? Are there any dead bodies back in there?? If you will buy one of those little pneumatic sander with 1200 grit velcro sand papers you can buff those headlight right out and then you will be amazed at what you see on the road at night.!

Great video, what trouble lights came on? I have a 2005 t1n that stalls while driving after engine drives for an hour or so

I've had this exact issue it stalls then can't be started for like 45 mins. Changing the crank shaft positioning sensor fixed it

Question, I was pumping diesel with engine on and it just turned off and wouldn't turn back on but would crank and lights came on dash. Is this what happened to you. I replaced my cam sensor as well and thinking about doing the crankshaft sensor now as well. Also windows won't roll up now with wtf lol

When it went out it would not even turn over

How it it fail? You try to start up but no crank but on the dash have the light and radio working?

It would die randomly when driving. Changed it out and never a problem again.

what engine is in the sprinter and how many miles?

5 cylinder diesel with 200k miles. Never had a problem again after changing it out. Motors are great

It's the T1N straight 5 cylinder. 2006 was the last of the best ever made motor in the Sprinters hints why they changed in 2007. I have a 2006 T1N Sprinter as well & it has about 155k miles. Many get a million miles out of these vans if maintained regularly thru it's life. They don't even come with dipsticks to check the tranny fluid but I'd advise buying one even tho Mercedes says they are lifetime transmissions & why they don't have dipsticks. Many YT videos on how to change the fluid out there. I have converted my 06 cargo high top to a fully sustainable RV & it's a mid size on my channel. You truly can get alot in these things if you spend time in designing them. The great thing is you can stand up too if you're not over 6' tall. Best van ever PERIOD.
