I've got a grinding sound that rear end of mine locked up yesterday and threw me off the quad. Does anybody know how I can pull everything apart to see what's going on

Had a shop rebuild my ltr450 $5800. Now it dies at high Rpms back fires in 5 th gear .. engine shuts off shifting from 2 ND to 3rd hammering it just shuts off...the mechanic said . Its breaking up..and it needs reprogrammed...I think it should be perfectly running after a $5,800 rebuild... just ordered D.i.D. racing chain with 13/36 JT sprockets... Top speed is 71 mph after rebuild..it still cuts out and back fires if I ride it hard.

Oh, and I asked him if it would run better. He says " your not getting it ported or polished ! 2006 ltr450 . The Motor was Honed.
