2007-2011 V6 Toyota Camry Spark Plug Replacement

Since I can’t afford to take this 2009 Toyota Camry to the shop I decided to fix it myself. I show you how to replace the spark plugs and ignition coils for this car in this video. Enjoy!

Thanks for the great video! For others, be super careful on the ignition coil electrical connector clips as they are VERY easy to break.

Thank you! Yes the pigtail connectors to the ignition coils become very brittle as a result of the engine heat. I just had to replace them on my Toyota as well. It’s very easy to do and necessary to avoid misfires.

Hello Justin is there any way you can send me a picture of the plug that goes into the camshaft sensor it's located behind the 3rd spark plug in the back...I accidentally pulled it out and I don't know how the colors went

Unfortunately I don’t have a picture of the camshaft sensor connector, but it should be fairly straightforward to figure out. Check out some online diagrams or a repair manual. Good luck!

what absolute horse shit... toyota is "easy" to work on my ass, this is some annoying long process to get to the coils/sparks.. wow.. not looking forward to doing this on my dad's car F***. Thank you for the video though..

Yeah I definitely agree that the V6 is not “easy” to work on. The inline-4 is which is why I think people say that. Good luck!
