Just so everyone knows atleast here in CA the Malibu has a catalytic converter warranty that covers either 150,000 miles or ten years what ever comes first I’m sharing this to help people I just saved 3000 dollars on it and I hope It can save you guys money

I keep getting p0420 every couple hundred miles. Changed the manifold already.changed both 02 sensors. Car doesn’t have any bad car symptoms. Do you the the front cat converter is causing me issues?

Completed the job but I got a p0420 code. Checked and I have a leak at the flange. I used the new gasket that came with the manifold. Can I use a thicker gasket or is it possible I installed it incorrectly?

Possibly sounds like the round gasket came out of the groove if not go grab a new one and try again sometimes the aftermarket ones are to small and don't seal correctly

You may have a engine with smog pump if so there will be 2 plac boxes above the exhaust manifold that will complicate things a bit or better known as California emissions this video is for federal emissions

@@GoofTRICK yes this one was if yours is loud there are a few things that are commonly wrong with them check and make sure your manifold is not cracked and make sure the flex pipe at the bottom isn't wrecked
