Hello my friend. The green liquid that ran from the 2 tubes when they were disconnected is coolant. In most cases this is done to keep the throttle plates from freezing when it's cold outside. The coolant running through there can provide a lot more heat than is normally available without it, even with a cold vehicle.

1. Why does my idle drop when I turn my headlights on? Electrical loads like headlights (which are a big electrical load) cause a mechanical load on the engine. The harder your alternator works, the harder the engine has to work to spin it. Therefore when you turn the headlights on, your engine has to work harder and the idle drops as a result. 2. Why does my RPM drop when AC is on? The idle speed initially drops because the A/C Compressor is driven by a belt connecting it to the crankshaft and requires some of the engine's power to drive it. Your vehicle, however, have a mechanism to detect this rpm change under the A/C Compressor load and will bring the rpm back to normal. 3. How do you fix a rough idle when AC is on? Here is the procedure of fixing rough idle when AC is on: Open the car hood. Access the throttle body. Have a friend or colleague turn the key to the “On” position, but don't start the car engine. Request the helper to slowly press on the accelerator. Next is to spray the throttle body cleaner on a rag and or cloth.

Low or high fuel pressure from a dirty fuel filter, defective fuel pump, clogged fuel tank strainer, bad fuel regulator or dirty/clogged fuel injectors can cause rough idling. Try replacing the fuel filter and add fuel injector cleaning treatment to your fuel tank to clean and hopefully unclog your injectors.

The Problem can be with the engine not getting enough ventilation. Problem: In your car the ECU is programmed to raise the rpm when it detects a stall or the RPM dropping down so if there is problem with your air filter which is not allowing much air into the engine and causing a stall but not noticeable your ECU will fight it to keep it in working range.This causes the RPM to bounce. Solution : Clean up your air filter and check for any clogs. Or could be your mass airflow sensor: If you think it is your Mass Air Flow Sensor, get your MAS cleaned first (and correctly). Avoid using after market air filters which have oily residue in them which can get onto the sensor. Your car software tries to maintain the idle rpm: The AC temperature governor tries to maintain temperature, but some clogs in coolant path or issues with compressor leads to variable load on engine. Make sure AC system serviced once.

What is the difference between fly by wire and cable throttle? The main difference between a drive-by-wire and a drive-by-cable system is that there is almost no mechanical linkage between the engine and the accelerator in a drive-by-cable system. On the other hand, a drive-by-wire system includes an electronic signal that tells the engine how much power it should generate.

You just explained it. 'Fly by wire' is is electronic way of controlling throttle body by stepping motor controlled by computer, which opens and closes the throttle plate, as opposed to mechanical cable connected to gas pedal. This system doesn't use idle control valve since the stepping motor opens the throttle by needed percentage. Pretty much all cars after 2010 use Electronic Throttle Body. On North American Corolla 1.8L the conventional throttle body was used until 2006, later models use 'fly by wire' stepping motor throttle body. But when you clean the throttle plate, the computer has to learn new feedback points for the idle or the idle speed will be very high. On Corolla it usually takes two/three drive cycles to re-learn proper idle RPMs. Some suggest with key in ON position to press the acceleration pedal slowly to the floor and slowly release it, but I didn't find it necessary. The only negative thing about this system is that Electronic Throttle Body costs way, way more money. Also sometimes the acceleration pedal dies. The one I changed last time in some X1 or X3 BMW was some $150 for gas pedal 🤨

Τώρα για τις βίδες και τα παξιμάδια πρέπει να είναι 8 ή 10 χιλιοστών μεγέθους. Και κάτι άλλο εξίσου σημαντικό: μην ξεχάσεις να βάλεις λεπτές και μικρές ροδέλες τόσο στα παξιμάδια όσο και στις βίδες. It's basically a valve cover exhaust gas recirculator that takes gross air and pressure from valve cover and sucks it back into the intake system just below the throttle body, so it gets burned into emissions. You do not want a hole in 'any' hose or line in the vehicle.

First I dosconnect electric connection. then start the engine, I turned the screw clock wise, and observed the rpm, it start reducing from 1500 to1000, but upon further rotating clockwise again increasing the rpm, so I left the screw where the rpm was mininum 1000 rpm, then connect the electric connection and restart the engine, did the idle relearn procedure. now rpm is 800 on idle . is this Ok? or do I need sonething to bring rpm 650 to 700 at idle?

@@YiannisPagonis Not a good ideal to post "2007-2013", when 2006 to 2009 are not even close being like yours. For a fact 2009 Toyota Corolla LE (USA model), the throttle should not be moved by hand /or by any object. There are no cable and all driven by electronic and gears.
