I got this kit for my 2015 silverado 1500. I got the upper control arms and full coil, no spacer. Looks and feels great. No complaint. Whole kit was around 800.

Could you direct me where you got yours from but for an 18 1500 4wd ?

@@creolekolbytv I get all my stuff from custom offsets. Customer service is amazing.

The rear differential will always remain the lowest part of your truck so the only way to actually get for ground clearance is bigger tires. Lift kits just make the body higher, but rear diff stays the same.

Better get the control arms. I did it without an in 30,000 miles the ball joints went out. My truck is a 2016 1500 and the alignment shop had to run the camber adjustment all the way out with stock control arms and still barely got it within spec I would highly recommend spending the extra $275 and getting there control arms like I had to do.

can i run a stock wheels with the control arms? i have a 2011 gmc sierra with 35 inch tires on 18 inch gmc stock wheel. but i heard you need wider wheels to fit control arms?

Great video! A bit of feedback: slightly turn down the volume on the music so it isn’t as disruptive. I can hear your information clearly but it would help in the delivery so it isn’t as distracting.

Nice GMC. I think it would look a lot better with the painted section of the wheels painted to match the truck. I have a question, why is it necessary to remove the strut and install the top spacer? Instead of just a thicker spacer at the bottom? That would make the job so much easier. That and I don’t understand how you can go through all that work and not replace all the shocks with the best brand you can find? Even to go with a quality longer strut/coilover? That would add more travel along with the lift? But especially in the rear where it’s so much easier! That would make a real improvement on the dynamics of the Truck!

What do the front spacers measure in height
@leandrozuniga9683 Жыл бұрын
What’s the front spacers measurement? 3.5 inch or 2.5 inch?
@AmericanTrucksChevyGMC11 ай бұрын
The front spacer will bring the nose of the truck up 3.5 inches.

I have a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 , I have 17x9 rims with +12mm offset. can I run 33 12.50 17 with this kit with minor trimming? or should I run the crappy 285/70/17 they call for?
@BIGJBIGEBIGC7 жыл бұрын
Why skip out on the control arms? This is just a poor mans lift
@chevyon37s7 жыл бұрын
Josh B it's not even a lift the lower control arms don't get dropped and no lift knuckle or drop for the upper control arms. This death trap is just an over extended leveling kit

Not very professional (claw foot hammer being used?). I would HIGHLY recommend not using this lift. Suspension geometry on the front is HORRIBLE, specifically the BJ angles.
