Jimmy Johnson with a great show. Pushing limits. Hamlin vs Gordon. True with his own story line. Busch vs short temper smoke Stewart. Dale Jarret doin the dang thing. Kellogs labonte. What a time, what a race, there was a time before stages and restructured restarts. With tire and fuel strategy and great drivers. So fun. Hope dover can rebound, total dud these days.

Something interesting Ive noticed while watching this race, there seems to be a rubber buildup under the rear wing right where the decklid meets the TV panel. I have never seen this before or after this race. You can really see an example of this at 1:43:53 - 1:44:00. Im guessing this is a byproduct of the tire not putting rubber down in the track. Track stayed white all day.
