Mine still read -40 with new sensors. Issue won't go away. No idea. Wiring seems fine.

If your connection jumped when you tapped the wires it works if not your wires are faulty

Ok so I have the 06 e90 . I ran thru a bunch of snow and now my fan is running fast. Do you think my sensor is telling my car it’s too hot?

Yea it worked before I even replaced the sensor, I read that it can cause issues with the AC but the check engine lit was my problem

Joseph RuffHouse can’t say with certainty but I personally didn’t have any issues with it but I also live in California for weathers pretty mild

gino leonne look for a harness (bundle of wires wrapped in black tubing or tape) should be on the passenger side inside the engine but mines was a 328i so the placement may be different

IIts on the passenger side, front tire towards the front bumper. Not sure about your car but mines has really poor clearance so id jack it up to see what im doing if i were you. There is a grill thats below the underbelly of the car. take that off and you cant miss it. its a red and black wire going to it. below the passenger headlight

I can not find the sensor on my 05 I also think it ripped off but I can’t locate a ripped wire

Rasheime Grissom see if you can trace it from inside the hood from the harness. It should be bundles in a bunch of wires

DopeitsJay are the wires located in that bundle of wires on the passenger side under the hood and if so wat colors are the wires because I’m puzzled I just brought this car
