snt it also possible that code means it can be the throttle PEDAL sensor as instead? i had this code for my 2009 pontiac g3 and a lot of mechanics i talked to said that if i change the pedal throttle and sensor that should do the trick.. i just ordered the pedal but im alos curious that the throttle body might be the issue.. i wouldnt wanna pay to change the pedal if it ends up being the throttle body... that would be annoying..! is that possible?

Hello, i was wondering if this started before the engine light came on? Reason being is my son got an 09 and he's been having problems with it sence he got it really but i guess his problem is now is. He can start it and once it worms up and starts to drive it it would start out slow and won't go past 10 miles. When he puts pressure on the gas it would feel like it's gonna stall and he said it losses pressure as well. To me it sounds like the fuel pump but someone also said it would be this sensor and he's afraid because they also said you have to have this sensor calibrated by the dearler. Is this all true too?? His engine light doesn't come on tho

Freestyle Mark : I had no idea there was a problem with my 2007 Aveo5 until the check engine light appeared. Even after the car threw the code, I only noticed some hesitation in acceleration, but was able to reach the desired speeds. I did not have the sensor calibrated and was not aware it needed to be. My car hasn’t had any issues since replacing it. Would love to hear what was found.

My 08 aveo just threw this code. I'm finding the throttle body for mine around $130-$150. But this does look pretty simple to replace. Was it difficult to get the bolts up underneath?

Sara Brooks . That’s a great cost. After moving that air hose, the bolts/nuts were not difficult at all with a 10mm ratchet and extension and/or a small wrench. The electric connection was a little snug. Just make sure to lift that little tab. Best wishes.

Edgar Bravo. It’s been a while, but I recall it would hesitate when I pushed the gas. This is what I just found online: Symptoms of a Bad or Failing Throttle Position Sensor - Common signs include lacking power when accelerating, rough or slow idle, stalling, inability to shift up, and the Check Engine Light coming on.

It’s a good idea when you finish the work show how the car runs now , did it work , if so it’s great but sometimes there is still another part that may need to be cleaned or changed , you did good on your installation but finish the video with your car running good …

The car did not have any issues starting before or after the installation, so I did not find it necessary. The changing of this part fixed the issue/code that I had. Thank you for your feedback.

I have a Chevy Aveo 2009, I changed the pedal sensor and this out because I didn’t know which one of the two was giving me problems, but this morning after driving to work for about 45 minutes the car bailed on me again... does anyone know what the problem could be?? I’ve been asking here at work and no one seems to know...
