the new Silverado is awesome I wish I had a 1500 with the 6.0L Vmax, Only thing I dont like is the fuel saving system de-activating 4cyls, sure it saves, but i'd rather fly by with all 8 roaring so people can hear my exhaust, not hear a 4cyl go by, and i'm not sure but I dont think the 1500 crewcabs come with 6.5' optional beds like Ford does. 5.5' is too small, 6.5' is the minimum for me

@pearldrummerbt123 Yea true, but how many people really leave their trucks, stock? Not many anymore. You can always tune it out and have a completely different truck from when you bought.

Yep, especially Chevy and Ford have had close to a hundred years of truck making, and they have (including Dodge) have the truck design down-pat.

Ha ha. This is the best truck on the market today. You'll be hard pressed to find a review where the Tundra beats this.

they shoulda have tested one with the extended cab and the 6.5 ft bed thats the best configuration enough bed space to haul stuff but no to long to drive around town and park

I'll tell you one thing buddy. When you buy an American truck your money doesn't turn into Japanese Yen you idiot. I went and test drove both a Chevy Silverado and a Toyota Tunrda. The Tundra to start off got worse gas mileage when I test drove it, the six speed was very harsh, and frame is very weak and you have to be really tall to reach the top of the bed. The Chevy had a wonderful ride. A powerful and great sounding V8. The four speed was very smooth even when it shifted at 4,000 RPMS
