My mans needs a trashcan setup and he will be good, other than that great truck all around, one of my dream trucks is a 1st 3rd gen to 2cd gen cummins, specially the 3rd gens, I love the megacab dually. All mechanical no BS wiring setups, don't get me wrong, new ones are badass, but when it comes to work. Ina go with the old gens any day

HondaCummins thanks, yeah I plan on using it for my business. Going to be hauling alot of cars and this way its alot cheaper to pick them up then have them delivered. I live in Canada and im going to be picking up cars in VA, PA, CT, NY and that general area.

Hey brother! I'm seeing about buying a 2010 dodge ram 2500 cummins with 340,000, 1 owner and always service through the dealership. I don't know what kind of work he did with it but looks very clean. They are asking $11,000. What do you think?

Have you had any major issues with the truck? looking to get a 3rd gen 5.9 and towing a 3/4 car wedge. Whats your average fuel consumption usually?

I have had just about every issue one could have. truck pulls the weight fine but really for commercial use I would get a single axle big truck. Regardless I would never recommend getting into this business for so many reasons. Biggest being the DOT.

jayngo23 Just depends on how it was treated by previous owner(s). If it was well taken care they can run over a million miles. Some only last 100-200k miles. It all comes down to how the truck was taken care of. Mine now has 412k miles running strong and I pull over 20k lbs daily with it.
