Ive never once used the air ride for speedbumps. I always ride it with full compression. the only time it gets aired down is for parking. its simply "because i can" mod :)

This Ruckus has the Stock50cc motor. I have 6 Ruckus. Couple are GY6 but not this one.The headlight in this video is the kijima headlight. or "wave" headlight.

I have well (had) a 2008 Yamaha R1. not sure if you consider that a nice motorcycle. I found myself riding the ruckus more then the R1. So i sold the R1. I'll prob eventually get another super-bike, but i need to wait until i'm more mature and not as reckless.

I'm sure here in my State police can find things wrong and illegal with the bike. The only thing i have been pulled over for was the police officer could not see my tailight. Once he pulled me over he said. "Oh, there it is and advised me to get a brighter one" he did not say it was illegal only said it was not safe and that i needed a LARGER light so i dont get ran over. That was his opinion. The taillight is visible from the required distance during daylight and night.

I think putting air ride on it is kind of dumb. I doubt you drive this thing all the time, speedbumps are easy to get over. Still looks dope.

Hey Brandon, any idea if you can do the fat tire and big bore without stretching the wheelbase? I wanna have a phat, short moped, with a lot of power, for city and getting on the highway if needed. I suppose the seat would have to stay high as usual if it works? The 49inch wheelbase I would need that more for putting it behind the car. If I stretch it like yours, could you pump enough air to "fold the bike down to a 50ish base? Thanks for posting the cool video.

The problem you'll run into is that with a fat tire you'll need to offset the moter. once you do that the problem you will run into is it will hit the side of your rear frame. Yes you could do a mini stretch, something custom. However I'm pretty sure that's at least a 6in stretch to clear the rear frame

I actually removed my air-ride because it does not work properly, You prob cant find any information because the way i did it and most people it just does not hold up, the air struts seals blow out and you constantly loose pressure. they are not rated for that much PSI. I'd look into the forjworks(dot)com air ride system for the ruckus. All the info i have on my stuff is stuff i wouldn't recommend to anyone.

im pretty sure it was something i just made. a flat piece of metal with some holes in it. I got rid of the headlight over a year ago. i didnt like how much it chattered while driving. the light at night was real annoying.
