Question? How have they held up ? Performance wise ? Bc I’m considering getting the exact same skunk 2 shock and springs

Honestly they have been fine... but, if I had to go back I would likely get a full coilover setup, just more self contained and I would have had less miscellaneous items to acquire, since I didn't have the oem setup to pull from. From a quality aspect they are fine, it's not too low that the car is undriveable nor is it too stiff.

Where did you get all the rubber gaskets from? Is there a link or website

I can't say whether they are better or not... I would consider them middle of the road tbh... in hindsight, I kinda wish I had just gone with a full coilover setup

Thank for your response.. I don't want to waste money twice.. The question now is KTune or Skunk2 Coilovers? Cheers and thanks again

I hear that... my take is this, I haven't had ktune products before so I can comment, although I have heard good things... skunk2 is a brand I have been using for years. However, I have heard that some of their production quality had dipped recently, and I am using a few of their products on some of my builds now to see how it shakes out. That being said, I haven't had any issues with this setup, although the old setup was so bad anything would be an upgrade.

@@BILLT_YT The KYB I thought would be good and I heard that the HFP models came with them. I already have the Skunk2 springs that I liked on stock shocks that were done. I didn't want to put out for coilovers and I don't like the green on Tein and never heard of True Hart. So i figured KYB would be ok. But they are too soft. They have that extra lil bounce. I like one compression and then set. I do like the Skunk2 stuff I have there Alpha Catless Down pipe. Works nice with the Q300.. I'm open to the Skunk2 Coilovers too.. I do have a K20Z3 motor and plan on building something that will have 280-290 whp and could be track maybe 3-4 times a year.. So any advice would be appreciated.. Moss R

Sometimes, the difficulty is matching the spring rate and damper rate... aometine the single piece setups are better since they are better matched. It also offers more adjustability and tunability than just a spring and strut combo

which coilovers are you considering?

If I were to I would probably just stick with skunk2 pro-s but I won't be changing at this point

Would you please look at these shocks and see in which county they are made in, China or USA or Japan. After being very sick with covid 19 I do not trust the chinese. I would rather put in my Honda Bilstein or KYB Sincerely Baruch

Skunk2 is an American company but they do outsource their manufacturing on occasion... I couldn't comment on where these were made
