2007 Honda CR-V MOT Failure; CV Boot & Joint Replacment

In this video we are carrying out a repair on a split driveshaft CV boot and worn CV joint, which is what caused this car to fail its MOT Test.
We show the procedure of how to replace not only the boot but the entire joint itself. We look at common measurements to look out for so you can accurately source the correct part so that the repair is a lot easier and less time consuming.

I just changed my entire cv shaft, and looked all over the internet for torque specs for the axle nut. I saw anywhere from 135 ft lbs up to 250 ft lbs. Then, many you tube videos have the guy just use his impact, so they have no idea what torque the nut is. You stated your torque was according to manufacturers specifications, so I went with that. Thanks.

I don't think you loose transmission oil from transmission side as its male spline transmission side which slots into the female into drive shaft with a rubber seal is there not?? or am I mistaken...
