The only person that says an X type is a Mondeo in a suit is somebody that has never owned or at least spent any time driving one. Yes it does share the same running gear as a Mondeo but this is where the similarity ends.

Nice jaguar even if is part Ford and part jaguar, but you really need to drive a pure jaguar like the Older xj6s etc......so well built and tight, even on the roughest of roads it remained rattle free and what a drive ( absolutely awesome )

I used to own one until about may. Generally, not too bad of a car as long as you keep it up on maintenance. You also have to remember it's a ford engine and parts can be expensive. Would not recommend one though.

Why do a lot of the cars you review have the check engine light or some sort of other fault?

with most cars check engine light doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong with the engine itself mechanically. could be something as simple as an oxygen sensor that will set off light

MCHDMAFFin Comedy SaabKyle04’s friend ChrisFix bought a 2003 Jaguar X Type in silver with the black interior for his father back in 2017 and he bought a 2002 Jaguar X Type with the same colored interior and exterior as a parts car to fix his dads car and he got rid of the 2002 Jaguar X Type after he removed all of the parts from the 2002 Jaguar X Type

About 17 procent is Ford, the rest Jaguar and 3rd parties... any car manufacturer uses parts of the mother company or other 3rd parties so stop calling this a Ford in a suit. It's just not true.
