2007 Kawasaki Ninja 250 Cafe Scrambler Racer 250r Part 4

I am working on a Kawasaki 250 scrambler project. The bike is finally complete.
This is my first project where I modified the frame of a bike.
I think the finished product came our very well as I expected. The bike runs beautifully and is so much fun to ride. It barely weighs anything and handles great.

WOW! That looks kick ass! I found a old 2006 with 14k miles on it that (as many have been done) was laid down at about 35'ish MPH and pretty much destroyed the bodywork on the left side. I see full body kits on ebay for $350 or so shipped to the door, BUT...…………. I LOVE what you have done to your bike! My mind is now going full steam ahead lol Mine would look a bit different due to 1) I don't everrrr want to just flat out "copy" someone, and 2) Mine will have a set of 70/30 dual sport tires, smaller blacked out exhaust, home made skid plates and engine guards with small off-road LED aux. lights. But more or less retain the bobbed tail and black paint as you have done here. Thanks for the inspiration! Great looking bike and great video dude. ;-)

where did you find adapters to out standard bars on the ninja 250? I'vebeen looking everywhere and can't find any.

Nathan Pablo online eBay or any motorcycle store will have them. You will need to drill holes to mount them

I preferred the look with no fender. And yes, without fenders, riding in the rain will get messy for sure.

buddy, love the build! Can you please tell me, how did you wire that speedo? I have the same one but been fighting with the 3 grounds and not understanding how to hook up the indicator light on the cluster. I'd really appreciate your help, no one has instructions on this.

Sorry this was along time ago so I don't recall what I used for the main jet. Pilot I went to 40 and 3 washers on the needle.

Im looking into buying ninja 250 and my only problem is that ugly af front headlight... so would it look okay if I just removed the headlight and all the plastic on side?

If you just remove the plastics, the biggest eye-soar to me is the rear sub-frame. It creates a huge triangle and just looks ugly

Love your channel. I've got an 07 Ninja 250 just like this one with the same K&N filter and stock exhaust. I bought three jets, OEM Kawi :108, 110 and 112. Since I have the same setup as your bike, I was wondering what her size you used as well as the needle shims?

Alan Elliot since this bike has no side covers I went one size up on pilot jet to 40 and kept the main jets stock. I shimmed the needles with 3 washers each

The battery is mounted under the seat with a custom built bracket

You can see the coolant reservoir at 1:41 mark. It is strapped to the frame right behind the engine. For my next build I will be using a canteen from army surplus store. Stay tuned for videos on that build
