I own a 2005 CLK 320 with just 74k miles. I had a bit of a rough idle issue as well. OBD detected P0444 Evap Purge Valve. Had a Mercedes Indie Tech diagnose as well..same code. He replaced the Purge Valve and inspected coupe for any other issues. Total fix $116.00.

mine only has the issue when stopping and starting at red lights and stop signs but.... if i hold the throttle just a hair down the car works just fine but i gotta hold the breaks down too at the light kinda sucks lol, ill replace the egr valve
