Avoid using the C Clamp. that could damage the piston. use gloves my friend. unless you want to get dirty... and use brake cleaner for new rotors. I think you have a general idea on what needs to be done but theres always room for improvement. Also use torque wrench instead the ratchet. Dont get me wrong but if you get a lose fastener you can put your life at risk or third parties. Good Luck!

I bled the brakes now it's so soft like I have to push the pedal all the way down. All I did was change the break fluid is this normal?

Great video and steps. Do you take cap off the brake reservoir to relieve pressure before you compressed the caliper with the C clamp?

Carlos Perez yes we do, we forgot to mention that. Thanks for the heads up.

Where is the wheel you pushed under the car after jacking it up?? It vanished 2:50.... That rotor would rip your knee off at 3:23 if the jack was to fail. You are working dangerously. Get a jack stand! Thanks for the video but show the safe way of doing things.

I have a question again guys. My brake pads and rotors set did not come with the little silver bar shown at 10:12 to hold the brakes in place. Do I need that part or not because my old brakes did not have it in there and I already changed my brakes
@SVPractical
@SVPractical 6 жыл бұрын
LIT GOD well we used them because it came with it in the set, every manufacturer is different
