what type of tools size u needs to do all the work. Thanks for your reply!
@SVPractical6 жыл бұрын
James Earnest you’re going to need a ratchet tool set most of the socket size you are going to use are from 8mm to a 12mm. The spark plug socket is a special one is a deep one, check it when you buy the new spark plugs. You’re going to need needle nose pliers to remove clips from hoses, if you don’t have that special tool for clips. A long antenna type magnet to remove the spark plugs, sometimes it’s easier to remove those stubborn ones, and lastly a torque ratchet, to set the spark plugs to the specific torque settings found on the box of the sparks, and if required a gapping tool, if you don’t buy the sparks pre-gapped.

Those hoses attached to the throttle body are missing on mine, where do they go
@SVPractical3 жыл бұрын
They were going to the engine body somewhere, I think they were vacuum hoses.

What size ratchet is the spark plug ?
@SVPractical3 жыл бұрын
To be honest I don’t know what size, because my set of sockets, simply says spark plugs on it. There’s two of them on my set.

Hey brother , I have a Nissan tiida Ive been having problems when I drive , when I accelerate the car feels like its gonna die out or something I was told I might be a sparkplug misfire

Jimmy Jump62 if you don’t happen to have a code reader available, take it to autozone, they’ll do it for free of charge, and that way you’ll be sure what the problem is

Tony Cervantes si todo eso se le tiene que quitar, lamentablemente el espacio es muy pequeño, el motor no tiene turbo si es lo que preguntas, es el motor regular,

Dudes--why not change all 4 plugs given how much work is involved? I am even thinking about changing all the coil packs, if I could only trust that the after market parts are good as the factory.

That's not how an inline 4 cylinders are counted. Start from timing chain side 1 2 3 4 in order. The firing order is 1 3 4 2 So facing the engine the #3 is third from the left.
