We took a train from Chicago to see the game and were really looking forward to checking out the campus, but our train was delayed because someone tried to beat it at a crossing and got plowed into.

Choice, Michael Johnson and Thomas (RIP) both very successful in the NFL. Dwyer got drafted and made the NFL, but got released on a domestic battery charge.

This was the start of a dark 5 year stretch of ND football.Jones had all this hype coming in but it was obvious he would suck when watching that springs blue-gold game...he was was at worse then expected
