My mother has an Opel Astra 2.0 i 140 hp. She lent me the car at the start of my driving license before I got my car (Opel Corsa) so I could go to university (Berlin). For 5 years I traveled back and forth regularly, even 630 km per month😱. Per year, 14,000 km for even my family. Her car when she lent it to me had 87,000 km for the year (2008) and now it has 161,000 km. I have no knowledge of cars but I drove it regularly on the motorway and found it really comfortable and economical for a petrol price. I left on Friday evening after studies, and I left again on Sunday afternoon.😊🇩🇪

I don't know what to buy as first car, found an Astra H for € 4999 with 148.000km and it's in pretty good shape, and a Bmw 116i with 159.000km also in good shape for €6100. Which one should I buy? Is the Astra reliable? And how does it drive?

Did anyone have problem with high average fuel consumpation in idle, while cars is parked not moving? When start the car my instant fuel consupmation goes from 1.5 to 0.8 but my averge fuel is just counting up etc 10.1, 10.2 in couple of min goes from 10 to 11l

@@kurd2212 The car is really good but its somehow special for some things so sometimes people get confused 😀 For ex. Working temp goes around 105-115C and then on 117 fan goes on.
