2007 Pontiac G5/Chevy Cobalt Front Strut Replacement

I will show you the easy steps to removing your struts and what tools you need. It only takes 5 bolts. And I will demonstrate how to install new struts back into the car.

I recommend using a jack to help raise the lower control arm into position when putting the new strut in also don't put the sway bar link on until you have the strut installed again just use the jack to get it in place you made it more difficult then it needed to be

I soaked mine with PB Blaster the night before and the morning before and everything broke loose easily with a 24" and 18" breaker bar. Easiest repair I've done in a while.

#quadstatecameras I was told by the guy that aligned my wheels that my strut is bad. I. Looked at it, No leaks and it passes the bounce test. I think that rattling he hears is the radiator. It is missing the mount bushings and it is currently not bolted in. Still I watching this cause eventually their day is coming.
