@@GAMING2S 06 isn't really a modern example of a renault but that's fair yeah, they weren't amazing back then in terms of power and design but, both things have improved since. Their biggest improvement in recent years has been eliminating the French car body roll through corners.

Hi. My car is clio 3 1.2 16v petrol. I don't get any fun while driving. I have to change gears as soon as I hit the gas. He wants 4th gear at 100 meters, he does not speed and shouts a lot. do you have the 1.2 tce version? Because then it's logically, their is a turbo build inside next to the motor and that version makes a lot of sound. I know the car because I had it too, It wants to stay in the highest gear every time. That type of car is made for people who like fast acceleration. Otherwise if you don't have the 1.2 tce you might want to look if the soundproofing plate under the car is still there. sometimes they fall off.

I have not. Always double check so impossible. When I get back hood seemed closed and locked but when I pulled it a little bit stronger the hood unlocked easily.

I once got into a car accident, here is the story: We were driving back home from holiday in our Renault Clio, and we were at 70 mph, and my dad was at 72, and the hood flung open. We were all shocked, I was pouring with tears. The results: The fix cost was £200 The windshield was smashed The window wiper was bent My dad had a cut head My mom had a cut on her knee My brother had a bruise on his head I had a dark grey bruise on my leg. Same for mine, I pulled out of the Renault shop in Paris and went for groceries 110 Kph I noticed the hood flipping, luckily it was still secured by the hook. I literally have to drop it from the highest position for it to latch completely…. Insane

Open the bonnet regularly, check for corrosion on the mechanism & keep the lock lubricated

bs's bro.shits happening with any car brand. considering that car had sold maybe the most pieces with toyota so chances increasing for a fault model.if you gonna ask 100 people who bought this car the 99 will tell you that the car is a beast.i own for 13 years the 1.2 tce stage 1 with 130 hp and my only complain after all those years is that my front right switch for the window was broken.
