2007 ThyssenKrupp MRL Bottom-drive traction elevator @ Town Hall, Jastarnia, Poland

In Jastarnia, it's difficult to find buildings with elevators. However, the city hall of Jastarnia belongs to this small group. There you can find a seemingly normal ThyssenKrupp elevator, which has some interesting features. First of all, the drive is located in the pit. Therefore, the loudest sound of the brake occurs when the cab is on the lowest floor (in typical MRLs it is the other way around). Also, despite the typical cabin, a tiled floor is used also in the corridor. A characteristic element of the ThyssenKrupp elevators is the chime activation by pressing the button from the inside and outside. At the beginning of the video, you can also see the logo of the "STEP MODUL" fixtures. The elevator is good, runs smoothly but is a bit too loud.
Interestingly, the elevator was installed in 2007, although the building was built in 2002. Is the building without an elevator for 5 years, where there was a hole in the place for the shaft? Or is the information in the cabin incorrect?

Jak na nowy dźwig, to dość ciekawy ;) Same przyciski i piętrowskazywacz przypadły mi do gustu - dość mało spotykane w Polsce ;) Z tym rokiem produkcji to może być wiele teorii... być może między 2002-2007 rokiem urząd nie miał pieniędzy na dźwig i szyb stał pusty? A może w 2002 roku zainstalowano słabej jakości dźwig i podjęto decyzję o wymianie? Trudno powiedzieć. Niemniej fajne znalezisko w małym, nadmorskim mieście :) Super film.
