Have a 2015 ml550, its giving me a code for p0023. Similar mileage. Drives fine. Im guessing it could be the vvt solenoid?

Changed the sensor. When I finished I erased the codes and started the ignition. It started up like brand new and even when doing a test drive it preformed nicely. When I parked it, I decided to start it up one more time to make sure the error code wouldn't come up again. The same problem and error code came up. Any suggestions? I also changed the sparkplugs.

Well I'm sorry to say this but you didn't fixed still cranking a lot before start I'm 100% that if you try again couple more times code comes back so i do know what wrong with and I'm making a video for it to proof that your sensor replacement didn't work proof me wrong i would have to see the live data to see if you fixed this is why you need a lot of experience and a good scan tool high level scan tool that scan tool that you are using isn't good enough for mercedes or any German cars no offense but when you run a shop you really need a good equipment i do have fence equipment but you really need to test the sensor resistant etc I'm not trying to be a bad guy but it is true sorry that the right thing test thing first don't just replaced them again I'm sorry for this

That’s just the coolant sensor which is the entire reservoir? It is built In

depends how many mile on your vehicle use heavy oil because the timing chain get old

2013 GL450 is a twin turbo. Same engine as the GL550
