Over the span of 20 years, I've had multiple Hyundai's, Chevy's, Fords, Chryslers, and even Mitsubishi's and Honda's; all unreliable or oil burning. Till I got this car; I've had the 2006 Corolla for 5 years now; odometer stopped at 299,999 but the car keeps going. 2005 to 2008 Toyota Corolla's are the BEST! Cheap to maintain, boring, quiet, smooth rides, just my style. I'll probably never need to own another car and I'm okay with that.

Corolla for a car that gets you places, Camry is a larger sedan with a more powerful engine and no doubt more comfortable cruising around.

If you want a car with better fuel economy, I would recommend the Corolla or Matrix. If you want a car that has more interior room but still has the same Toyota reliability, I’d recommend the Camry. Although make sure you find an example of the above cars with side airbags. They weren’t standard in these vehicles until 2012.

I have that exact car. When the engine is hot and it’s been sitting it cranks forever before it starts. I think it might be vapor lock. Any ideas anyone?

I just purchased an 07’ Toyota Corolla LE mine cranks forever too before starting. Mine has 140,000 miles. I believe it needs a new starter or an alternator I’m going to get it fixed this week! I’ll let you know what the mechanic says!

@@torontoguy8043 I am from the Middle East, specifically the Sultanate of Oman. I sold the car and bought a 2001 Corolla. So far, I find it beautiful, but I have a problem with a lack of oil, perhaps due to the mileage of 600,000 kilometers with the same engine. I have not encountered any damage, only the replacement of consumable parts.

Well....not exactly, I have a 2001 Corolla S that is well kept and runs like a charm but it only puts out 130HP so not the greatest performance car. Lol 😅
