2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited TEST DRIVE video review

Hi, Great review video. It's November 1, 2023, and I'm in the process of purchasing a 2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited with 250,000 miles. What should I be careful of, mechanically? Are there any pitfalls with these vehicles with so many miles on them? Thanks!

Mine has 186xxx miles and I think it’s a bit of a gem in the rough. The power and torque are There. Gauge cluster says i average 26mpg. 3.3 v6 with electric front and rear motors that turn on and off depending on how your driving. In city you can drive completely on electric. Main engine is fairly serviceable but if you need replace the big battery your looking at probably thousands for new.

I just got this car with 85k miles, it was rear ended on the driver side, and is missing the stereo, but it drives great, cant wait to fix it well

Have you evaluated the health of the HV (high voltage) battery?
