The 2007 Volkswagen Touareg 3.6 v6 is back in the shop for an injector fuel leak. What damaged this oring???

I do have that exact same problem just different injector , and it will take forever to undo all those bolts and everything.

The first time I removed and installed the intake manifold, it did take a while. It didn't help the person that worked on it before me broke the manifold trying to remove/install it. Now I can do it in an evening. Make sure you have the correct tools, and I highly recommend removing the fuel connections and lifting point on the back, it makes it much easier. Then just take your time and don't force anything as the manifold area where the bolts go is fairly thin. Good luck!

What tool did you use to R&R the gas line between the two fuel rails?

I just used standard open end wrenches, if I remember correctly it was a 14mm. I tried using a tubing wrench, but there wasn't enough clearance. Thanks for watching and the comment!

In my opinion that is a piss poor design by VW, the gas line and how intake goes on. My 2 cents.

Ive removed that intake manifold so many times. It is hell lining up that high pressure fuel rail connector 😭

So after all the engine removals and work was it running good til this issue??
