Take off the windshield wipers and remove the rain tray in 15min then you won't need to bend anything

That's what I was originally going to do, but I went through a whole can of WD 40 and ended up with a cracked windshield trying to get wiper arm off. After an hour haggling with it. I said, F-it, and I found another way, and yes, I did remember to remove the nut holding it on.

@@laravybe7369 make sure you replace the tie rod ends if you haven't already. I just did all this last month when I replaced my strut tops.

I started with just wanting to replace the struts, however, my cv axle snap as I was taking apart the old strut. Then I realized the tie rod end and the lower ball joint and sway bar links were shot and leaking. It turned out to be a bigger project then anticipated.

​@@laravybe7369you don't need to do all that this guy said. That doesn't even make sense with the metal in the way once you do take wipers off and plastics. Some people i think are trolls. ​@@laravybe7369that's the great thing about Toyota, they share alot of parts. But of course you just have to know where to look. For example forums or even wiki will tell you what cars share what parts,engines, platforms,etc.
