2008-2019 FORD TAURUS IMPORTANT HEAD GASKET REPLACEMENT TIPS!

Here are some VERY important tips if you are replacing the head gaskets on a 2008-2019 Ford Taurus with the 3.5 engine, and without turbo. Failure to follow these tips may cause a severe misfire, or worse.

Don't forget remover the oil pan and get the two in the bottom as well up in the pan area

I have a 2010 Ford Taurus and i found oil in the radiator tank. Im thinking its the head gaskets, but theres no water in the oil. Shes running hot on me when i drive.

I have a 2013 Ford Taurus it kept overheating I was putting water in it , fast forward a month I'm driving and it stopped at the middle of the road randomly after red light turned green I tried to hit the gas and was not working. What problem do I have did I blow out a head gasket because every time I put sealant it dripped from the bottom .

I am not a mechanic but you may be experiencing a bad water pump and/or bad o-ring in the water pump. Mine is leaking coolant but remains at a good temp. Your pump may be shot.

Is taurus known for head gaskets? I am getting ready to do the water pump but i think i see oil seepage as well

Not the head gaskets, but the water pumps do tend to fail causing coolant to enter the oil which may be misdiagnosed as head gaskets.

@@cyndiann If it's the head gasket, it will either not start or run very poorly.
