2008 Acadia Ambient Temp Sensor

Short cut process to replace the ambient temperature sensor for the 2008 GMC Acadia

I’ve been going to the gym for about 18 years, I’m not a bodybuilder, but I do have larger arms and I was still able to get my arm in without breaking anything. A little grille rash, but saved a ton of time. Thank you!

Thanks man!! We have the same car and I have been putting it off due to all the comments about how much work it is and not having the time to do it but knowing this will help a lot and just in time for a long long trip!!

If you outside temperature doesn’t display at your dash lcd monitor, this is the part to change, it will prevent AC from turning on, because is all controlled by computer

my temp doesn't display, never has since I purchased my Buick Enclave, my ac was working. Where is the sensor located to change?

My ac light flashes 3 times then won't turn on. Will the ambient temperature sensor help to fix that? I know the sensor doesn't work because it always displays a temperature that is about 40 degrees off.

I have the same problem, I watcher a lot of videos an d I don't know if change first this temp sensor, or change the pressure sensor..!

I reset all the codes with a code scanner and the flashing A/C light went away. Then I replaced the sensor. It was reading 32 degrees while it was 85 outside. The new sensor fixed that issue.

Mine will say that it's 114 degrees F outside lol
