Very good video! The back of my valve cover was leaking oil all over and I was able to fix it by replacing gaskets and seals. Thanks for the detailed explanations!

Thanks a ton and glad it could help. Sometimes an oil leak looks worse than it actually is, and a simple valve cover gasket replacement is all it takes.

is a good VDO But you did not show the point where or how to put the ring in where you tap them down?

You may have missed that section of the video, but the spark plug tube gasket installation is detailed at 7:48.

you should have adjusted the valve clearance with this job

Trust me, every time I remove a valve cover I check the valve clearance. I stopped adding that footage if no adjustment was necessary. Figured 15 mins of feeler gauge action in every VC gasket video wasn’t the most entertaining. This TSX was perfectly in spec.
