Thanks it was a lot of work ...but now I know why I got a great car with low price and low miles ..still running super fantastic ! Had to put new tires on it the other day Michelins ! Thanks Pete

I used a vacuum break line bleeder thats attached to the air hose , make sure you check it on the stands with the Muffler off before you put it all back together... shifting etc ..plus it sounds bad ass ..

Great video.Looks like you may as well change the headers and cats for performance items when you do the clutch (since almost all of it has to come off).

All I did was drain the clutch fluid under the car. Its been running like a Swiss Watch ⌚️ no issues.

@@soloflairs No no. That clutch is going to die very quickly if you don't do the clutch bit count program. It'll seem to work fine regardless -- it'll engage, shift, drive pretty much normally. But without the programming a clutch that should last 30k-50k miles will give you maybe 2k-5k before burning out. It's not a joke or a dealer scam. It needs to be done. I have the same car, same year. These clutches are way too expensive and labor-intensive to disregard. I believe there are aftermarket computers from Foxwell that'll do the proper program now, but I'm not 100% sure. When I needed a replacement clutch I had the dealer do the work it for me so it wasn't an issue. But I really recommend not driving the car until you can sort this out.

I own the am service manual for this car, and the car. Youre on borrowed time without amds programming. Like the man said. Why spend that kind of money on a clutch and ignore the programming?

Is that sensor on the bearing the ASM sensor?

I'm not sure ? What that sensor is ? It might be a pad thickens sensor ? Like you have on your Breaks ?

Put mine back on car. I'm having issues. Clutch bleed . Solenoid buzzing no fluid moving. Maybe accumulator tube . ? Pump asm runs. Tool allows shift. But paddles don't work . Just clicks buzzes . No shift . I'm not sure if hydraulic is stuck. Or too much air. Not sure ... did you have any trouble bleeding clutch fluid and getting it to work with your scan tool. Im using foxwwll. Do you know what brake shift is. Pump. Brake shift. Odd. Even. Clutch . Are options

Pinched wiring harness on top of the tyranny? Something unplugged?

I disconnected the battery when I did mine. I never put a scan tool on mine. just took it all apart. Put it all back together, and The Thing is still running like a Swiss watch. A year later, just remember to bleed the clutch Possibly the scan tool is screwing up the computer ?? Please check it all before you put it all back together.Thanks Pete

@@soloflairs I need to drop the transaxle down and remove the mufflers to see what is going on with the sportshift. Can't see the bleeder 8mm on the accumulator. All hidden on top
