I have a 2010 Aveo and like most cars in traffic it consumes a lot of fuel. But with hardly no traffic it consumes less fuel and on the hwy it does great. I'll give it 3.5 out of 5 stars overall performance.

why would you need a engine block heater??? was -30 most of last winter and never had a problem starting my 08 aveo.... These motors on the 08's are know to grenade and blow up if you don't change the timing belt and pulleys at or before 60k miles... also revving the piss out of it isn't good salesmanship. I shift at 2500 rpm and cruise at 75mph around 3300 rpm... Have just passed 104k miles on mine....

My Parents had a Late 80's-early 90's Celebrity. lol That body was such a piece of crap lol The engine was strong, but the car literally started falling apart, drivers door first. Cavaliers are one of the few American Cars that can almost keep up with Hondas & Toyotas mileage wise. My Brother's had over 300k on it. My Grand Am GT had 379K on it. Depends on how You take care of it. Everybody has different experiences. Everyone I've know that's had a Cavalier has Overwhelmingly had a good experience. We have shitty Winters here in NWPA\SWNY ,the Salt is usually what does them in. just My Opinion.
