Is there any chance id be able to swap the radiator from an 04 Ram 5.7 into the 08 ram. They both have the same motor only difference is the 04 is 4wd. Not sure if they share the same size radiator. Or would it be better to just go ahead an get a new one

After looking it up it says YES. Same sku number on the 5.7L ONLY

Do you have to remove the fan to do the job ? Or no ?

I cannot seem to get my fan loose. Just messed with it for two hours and nothing. The water pump just spins with it…

Not sure what to say. Don't spin the fan spin the large nut at the base of the fan. That's the only thing I can think of. I'm using a pipe wrench on the base of the fan.

I applied pressure on the belt so nothing but the base spins

@@AnythingAuto ya I’ve tried. Found a video by TRQ and they didn’t remove the fan at all so I’m going to try that route next… thanks though 👍

You don't need to take the fan off to get the shroud out your just making extra work.
