2008 Fiat 500 1.2 Lounge Clutch Slave Cylinder Replacement

Our 2008 Fiat 500 Lounge Clutch had squeaked from new.
But when it stopped disengaging correctly, it was time to replace it.
The replacement came with a pipe and quick release, apparently leak free, connector.
But we decided to replace just the cylinder itself and the "O" ring that connects it to that pipe.
This meant we could do it all from within the engine compartment and removed any risk of damage to the old quick release connector that was exposed to the elements underneath the car.

Hi there, I have just bought a new slave cylinder for my 500 and planning to do the change myself. I have two questions I wondered if you could help me with? 1. After fitting the new slave, what do I need to do with the bleed kit? Could you talk me through that process and what I need to be able to do that as unsure 2. What grease do I need to use? Am I right in thinking this is pretty much the same as the Panda from the same era?

Does it squeek when you press the clutch pedel and keep it pressed or when you take it out does it stop ?

It squeaked when the clutch pedal was pushed in and let out. Changing the slave cylinder fixed it.

The one we used was from Eurocarparts and it was their product code 137580200

pathetic this guy replaced the battery tray with 1/2 a tree still on it .excellent video but how brain dead does one have to be to not even bother to shake those rotting twigs into a waste bin .
