I'm in Middle River MD, just bought a 2016 accord v6 manual coupe ( the last of its kind ) and love it.. can't wait to get an exhaust for it. Gone are the days of the j35 accords sadly. Doesn't sound like a VQ37, but is one of the best sounding v6 in my opinion especially with vtec and an intake.

I just sold my 2020 Mustang GT ten speed and bought a 2013 Honda Accord V6 coupe. Love it. Has plenty of power to keep me happy..looks sexy. Just a different kind of sexy. Needs louder exhaust. So far it has the Borla axle back, and magna flow high flow cat. It's rediculously quiet still. Im thinking need to get rid of resonator. Tryn to do the less expensive stuff first.

Jonathan Chavez no this is basically straight pipes no mufflers only removed the bigger of the 2 resonators smallest one Is still on until I get aftermarket j pipe I would do muffler deletes first and see how you like that if it’s not loud enough for you then fo one of your resonators

hmm, I have a 3rd cat delete and replaced with megan test pipe, I have a dynapack glass pack resonator or whatever that replaced the large resonator, I removed the small resonator and have megan oval racing mufflers. Would my car sound similar to thhis if I delete the mufflers and straight pipe after the large resonator? I want to leave the Large resonator in since I dont have the small one anymore

Do you think adding an electronic exhaust cutout before the second resonator would give the same sound as this? I'd really like mine to sound like this but I'd rather have the ability to open and close the valve when I want due to living in a pretty urban area hence the electronic cutout.

Connor Folsom I’ve heard of people doing this to achieve the same sound. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work but it would cost a fair amount to get it installed but not too much. I have a 2008 6-6 and I’m getting this exact setup done in 2 days. I’ll ask the guy if it would make a difference with a cutout

When you say second resonator, are you talking about that little pre muffler right before the y-pipe? And you left the long resonator in the middle of the exhaust intact?

Hopefully you figured it out, but yes. If you were to delete the main resonator in the mid pipe, it’d be raspy. Keeping the 2nd resonator alone doesn’t really do a whole ton either, but I guess it’s better than nothing.
