2008 Hyundai Elantra - Replacing the O2 Sensor (Upstream, Sensor 1)

In this video, I show you how easy it is to replace the Upstream O2 sensor. I also show how you can clear your fault codes... optional if you don't want to take it somewhere to read your codes and stuff.
**Clearing the faults on your ECU:
Search "obd2 bluetooth" in amazon, and buy one. There's many, but you shouldn't need to spend more than 20 bucks on one.
You'll need an android smart device. Simply go to the play store and download an app called "Torque".
Once your OBD bluetooth device comes in the mail, simply plug it in your car while its running, use your phone to pair it together via bluetooth, and then open Torque. Easy as that.
IOS users... youll need to research for apps that work with OBD readers, Torque does not work for apple. And I do not have any IOS devices.. sorry.
These were the fault codes I had:
P0171 - Powertrain
System too Lean (Bank 1)
P2195 - Powertrain
O2 Sensor Signal Stuck Lean bank1 Sensor1
P0170 - Powertrain
Fuel Trim (Bank 1)
These codes are pretty common to mean that you have a faulty O2 Sensor, but it's not the case for everyone!!! In this case for me, it happened to be my Upstream O2 sensor, which is also "sensor 1", hense why my code reader also said "bank 1" or "sensor 1". Always be sure though before you start replacing sensors, because they're not cheap!
